Former Miami Heat guard Norman Powell agreed to a two-year, $45 million contract with the Chicago Bulls.

Sources told ESPN, The Athletic and the Chicago Tribune about the pact Wednesday.

Powell, 33, averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game over 58 appearances last season en route to his first All-Star selection.

He joined the Heat from the Los Angeles Clippers last July through a trade, which also involved the Utah Jazz.

Powell, a second-round pick by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2015 NBA Draft, has been traded three times. He joined the Toronto Raptors in a draft-day trade. He also was traded in 2021, when the Raptors sent him to the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Blazers traded Powell to the Clippers in 2022.

The 6-foot-3 guard, who won a title in 2019 with the Raptors, averaged 14 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists through his first 11 seasons. He made 675 appearances, including 311 starts.

NBA free agents can’t be officially signed until 12:01 p.m. EDT Monday.
